ARTWORKS around town is...

a nonprofit charitable and educational organization, supporting, and sustaining artistic expression by:

• showcasing the talent of area artists, schools and organizations
• providing educational opportunities for all ages
• promoting interaction among artists and the public
• hosting forums for exchange of ideas, information and artistic expression
• encouraging and promoting public interest in the support of fine arts
• managing a central facility for the public to experience art at its finest

Tax deductible contributions from our supporters enables ARTWORKS around town to offer:

• guest-artist lectures and workshops
• outreach programs for youth
• demonstrations and discussions open to the public
• special exhibits
• international exchanges among artists
• placement of original art in public and corporate spaces
• artist information exchange

The Gallery and Art Center is operated by a Board of Directors with assistance from Artist Associates and other volunteers from the local community and region.  It depends for its financial support primarily on contributions, gifts, and grants.
